The Great Module Sew Along: The Grand Finale!

Over the past almost two years I have participated in quite a few challenges, #thegreatmodulesewalong on IG has been one of my favorites. The challenge to create a modular wardrobe made me think through not only the sewing pattern and fabric choices that would work well together and in my wardrobe but also color and fabric pattern choices.

As I said in my last post, I used the floral fabric as my starting point, pulling the red, black and white for coordinates. And I'm so pleased with the results.

Here's a recap of the module fabrics and patterns, as well as a few of the possible outfit combos!

Tops: Red linen, McCall's 7900; Black ponte, Mcall's 7686; white stretch cotton, Butterick 5526 & Vogue 8772
Pants: Floral cotton stretch sateen, McCall's 8006; black & white knit, McCall's 7415
Jacket: Floral cotton stretch sateen, Vogue 1667

If you haven't tried a modular wardrobe, I would encourage you to give it a go. I think you will be pleased with the result.
Happy sewing!
